I've got an interesting idea. Since you have some doubt regarding the bias of the vote, let us have a republican and a democrat judging each ballot and a democrat and republican observing those judges. Incredible idea eh? Republicans and Democrats working together to find a fair solution?

I am willing to trust both the Republican judges and the Democratic judges to do their best. Do you not trust them? I personally doubt that the number of dimpled ballots will make the difference in the election. We'll see. However, it certainly seems reasonable to take a vote made from someone that has a punched hole where they were asked to punch a hole, but the machine erred in judging that ballot.

In any case, I am willing to leave it up to the bi-partisan judges involved. Do you feel that these Republican judges and observers are biased? I am willing to trust them even though I do not agree with how they voted. Amazing eh?

So far there do not appear to be enough changes from the handcount to alter the result of the machine count. If that continues and Bush is put into office, you won't have to listen to 4 years of how the Bush office stole the election by blocking a complete count. Isn't that worth it?

Hand counts have been done for years in close races....There are members of congress today that are there because hand counts have overturned the machines.

You say that this one is illegal.....How so? Both sides have abided by the law to my knowledge....Perhaps not to your interpretation of the law .But then you have not been chosen to make that interpretation.

You suggest that there is a bias by the counters that will spill over into the results......What evidence do you have to support this....Are you aware that there are Republicans and Democrats present with each counter that may challenge any conclusion. That the whole procedure is video taped?

<<. A citizen is not required by some fascist tyranny to make a valid vote. >>

But a citizen has the right to a valid vote that is counted. Hand counted votes have always been considered more accurate......All of a sudden it's in question.........Himmm....

<<This recounting with new standards until the desired result is obtained, is despicable and contemptible. >>

I keep hearing this ......From the Republican side...But it's just not so. The hand counts are the final say so.Gore has said this time and again. It has been done in the past .Why should this time be different?

<<You cannot imagine how this is making America the laughing stock of the world. >>

I hadn't heard this.....Support this please.

<<This is a blow to the U.S. image that will affect foreign affairs for years to come>>

Really?.... How so?
