The Shias and the Kurds suffer because ...We support the Hussein regime because the alternatives are all worse. I agree with what you've stated here, but it's an additional sub-plot in political situation in Iraq. [I don't wish to debate which one is the plot or sub-plot, you can order them in any manner you view as important.] But I think it is true that the funds Iraq receives from the sale of oil are intended to benefit the Iraqi people [or at least some of them] and Hussein has not allowed that to happen for pure political purposes. That was the only point I was making at the time. I haven't been to my profile page in such a long time, I couldn't recall what was there and had to go look <LOL>. It's an eclectic compilation of URLs I think. Hopefully, you'll be able to find some time to look at the Cornell Law School site and the Supreme Court Decisions...neat stuff reading the opinions and dissenting opinions. It's a very worthwhile read to search up the last Supreme Court ruling on the 2nd Amendment. I've moved since the last update to my profile and it is not Iceland. Regards, jttmab
