stoptherecountpetition.org WE ARE TIRED OF SEEING THE MANIPULATION OF VOTER BALLOTS AND THE LAW. THE PALM BEACH ELECTION BOARD SAYS THAT THE MACHINE "MISSED" SOME VOTES DUE TO IMPROPER PUNCHES. WE SAY, ALL MACHINES, ACROSS THE UNITED STATES ARE PROGRAMMED TO IGNORE VOTES DUE TO VOTER ERROR. WE SAY, IF WE RECOUNT ONE PRECINCT BASED ON THIS PREMISE, WE MUST ABSURDLY THINK TO MANUALLY RECOUNT EVERY COUNTY IN THE ENTIRE UNITED STATES AND DO AWAY WITH OUR TRUSTED MACHINE PROCESS IN THE FUTURE. RECOUNTING IN THE FOUR COUNTIES, AND NOT IN ALL COUNTIES IS UNFAIR TO THE REST OF AMERICA. WE PETITION THE GOVERNMENT TO NOT ACCEPT THESE RECOUNTS, BASED ON WHAT IS FAIR IN AMERICA AS A NATION. WE WISH FOR ALL COURT LITIGATION REGARDING THIS MATTER TO CEASE. THE LAW IS CLEAR, AND WE DESIRE THAT MONEY STOP BEING WASTED TO FURTHER THIS EFFORT. WE ARE THE PEOPLE, AND THIS IS NOT OUR WILL. WE BELIEVE THAT THE MORE THESE BALLOTS ARE HANDLED THE LESS ACCURATE THEY BECOME. IT IS UNFAIR TO PERSUE AN AVENUE OF INACCURACY AND BLIND THE PEOPLE INTO BELIEVING THAT IT STANDS FOR ACCURACY, IN AN EFFORT TO FURTHER PERSONAL, POLITICAL GAIN. IT IS WRONG, AND WE PETITION FOR THESE ACTIONS TO CEASE. Vice-President Al Gore stated Wednesday night that machine counts could "miss" or "ignore" votes. Is this true only in Florida? Why are select Florida counties being treated any different than the rest of the United States? THE REST OF AMERICANS VOTERS ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED AGAINST IF THIS IS TRUE! STOP THE UNLAWFUL RECOUNTS NOW! "It is a fact, regrettably, that a number of absentee ballots from overseas U.S. military personnel do not bear a postmark," the senator continued, attributing the omissions to "human error." THE SUPPOSED REASON FOR THE FLORIDA RECOUNT WAS TO HEAR THE "WILL OF THE PEOPLE" AND TO FIND THE "TRUE INTENT OF THE VOTERS" WITHIN THE BALLOTS THAT WERE REJECTED DO TO VOTER ERROR. THIS IS DOUBLE STANDARD! EITHER HAND COUNT EVERY MECHANICALLY REJECTED BALLOT IN THE NATION, INCLUDING ALL REJECTED OVERSEAS BALLOTS, TO SEARCH FOR VOTER "INTENT", OR LET THE LAW PREVAIL AND STOP THIS LUDICROUS HANDCOUNT IN FLORIDA!
