Everyone knows soldered PCs from Micron/AMD/Team DDR is not the kind of solution the OEMs are looking forward to. This alone will kill DDR.
It is tuff to teach old dogs like MU,IFX to teach new tricks like RDRAM production. All they want is to get the most out of their current fabs without any investments. The drop in SDRAM prices will teach them a lesson. Samsung on the other hand is investing 30 Thousand million dollars into RDRAM and will be one of the winners and guess what? RMBS doesn't have to put up a dime. HELLOOO!
