People who correspond with me on this thread, have corresponded with me on its predecessor (S&P 500) and before that on the "Coming of Age" thread, I think will tell you that. That however is not an appropriate discussion for this thread so from here forward if you wish to pursue, please take it offline, or elsewhere. I have been a member of SI for 3 years, post on a number of boards, and tonight is the first time anyone has ever remotely suggested I short any stock. This despite whether or not I agree or disagree with their point of view. I in turn am violating the rules of this thread by being totally off topic, and most particularly I am violating the rules by ignoring the final rule in the thread header. I choose, however, not to "ignore" any poster to this thread, because there is a lot to be learned here. If you want further discussion post to me on the unmoderated Nokia thread where there are no rules, or PM me. * EOT * My sincere apologies to regular citizens of, and contributors to, this thread, for this totally off topic post. I realize this should have been addressed by PM, but I sense we are wandering, so chose to point out that this thread has rules for a purpose. - Eric -
