That is one of the most worthless excuses I have seen on SI - and there have been many.

You claim there is one - you look for it. Vague references to having heard it on Fox or MSNBC. Give us all a break here.

I think I am falling behind. I've just finished reading several newspaper accounts on the absent ballot issue. My read of these articles is that both sides were present. However, I haven't seen any mention of a memo by Republican operatives, only Democratic.

Here is a link but I do not know much about this newspaper. Cobalt Blue could probably tell you if they have any political leaning that might influence the writer as she is in or near Washington.
