$Mogul: Uh, are you talking about a different stock? The world of Telecom is more than just North AM also.

Given my understanding of SBC's requests which will bleed elsewhere,
somewhere under 20 seems logical by January.

But I don't attest to the goodwill numbers being a trouble. Yet you can't discount how many companies have tried to pawn off the GW and lost 80 to 90 %!

Revenue Will Be Lower Than Prior Expectations

DALLAS, Jan. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Efficient Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: EFNT), a
leading worldwide provider of digital subscriber line (DSL) customer premises
equipment (CPE) for the broadband access market, today announced that it
expects revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2001 to be in the range of
$100 million to $102 million. Revenue for the second quarter is expected to
represent an increase of more than 280% from the $26.4 million recorded in the
period one year ago.
Efficient Networks attributed the revenue shortfall in the second quarter
to two key customers not placing anticipated orders during the quarter.
"We were disappointed late in the quarter that two major customers did not
place significant orders with us as we had anticipated. We continue to work
with these customers for their future CPE requirements. While we are
dissatisfied with this aspect of our results, we are very pleased with the
revenue growth from other customers. Excluding revenue from these two major
customers, revenue from other customers grew more than 25% sequentially," said
Mark Floyd, chairman of Efficient Networks. "The company is very well
financed and we remain confident about the long-term prospects of the
broadband access industry," he said.
The company will be providing additional information and guidance on its
regularly scheduled earnings conference call on January 18, 2001 in accordance
with its normal practice.
