Excluding acquisitions on the 68 companies I follow, 3Q production increased 1.93% over 2Q. While that may not seem like a lot, 2Q only increased 1Q by .89%.

The NG curve is now above 1996 and rising:

I still believe NG supply is catching up with demand. The issues that will extend the current cycle beyond 2001 are all beyond anyone's control.

1. Will we have a normal or colder than normal winter?

2. When will the perception of a recession take hold in the market?

3. When will the next political event take place that changes the perception from falling oil prices to an oil shortage?

The timing on these question will determine if we have Boom 2001.
