RE:"Their man received fewer votes and is going to win anyway. They should show a little class, and a little compassion for the majority of voters in this country who have to watch the guy who received fewer votes walk into the office"

The Dems didn't seem to have a problem before the election when it was expected that Bush might win the popular vote and Gore the electoral.
OTOH, I don't blame a popular vote winner/electoral loser mentioning it.
Let's see if 2/3s of each house and 3/4 of the states will ratify the end of the electoral college...
I have my doubts...but you never know, Hillary is for it...

We feel your pain Dan but I think your conclusion is premature. There is still time for the Gore camp to steal this election. If the Florida Supreme Court respects the law then Bush is the winner, but being Liberals they just may not be able to resist the urge to make new law. You see, Liberals believe they are on a higher plane. Being in this enlightened state, they have a divine right or obligation to intervene when mere mortals go astray. If the legislator makes a law that doesn't suit liberal sensibilities then they must do their divine duty and make new law that corrects the error of an unenlightened legislator. People are allowed to govern themselves and make their own laws as long as they conform to liberal thought. Any deviation will be corrected by a liberal judge.

Anything could happen tomorrow. Don't throw in the towel yet Danny boy.
