OK. But living in PB County I can look at the entire count on the local governemnt services channel. As a matter of fact I can view the recount room 24/7. The workers look like they are doing a good job but there is that pile of ballots set aside for further determine of the intent of the voter and the fatique factor. Maybe someone accidently puts a few cards in the wrong pile. I still don't see how someone can positively tell the intent of the voter by a dimple unless they are a psychic.
Any court worth their salt will throw out the hand recounts on due process...

Amy,

Take a look at that picture. You'll see the Chairman of Palm Beach's canvassing board has two lawyers on each side: one a Republican and one a Democrat.

This is the third time you are posting this, so I am going to ask you for the third time: What power does the Republican observer have if the vote is determined by a panel that has 3 Democrats and no Republicans.

Answer: he has no power. The Democrats on the panel can rule as they please. I am not saying that deciding all disputed ballots in favor of Gore is illegal, since there is no standard in Florida law, all I am saying that it is extremely unethical.
