kranmantazzz - I'm sorry you don't buy it - believe me - I wish I was wrong...and not that SP's "fear" G* - they're just marketing AGAINST G*....but - even not considering my posts - you've had plenty to read here where the SP's are dropping the ball - the marketing isn't happening by the SP's - and people calling or searching in stores are being told that Verizon/etc doesn't handle the product. Read any Sprint ad - Verizon ad - etc - and you see "Call from anywhere - anytime" Sure it's not true - but that's their marketing and their sales focus - and I can tell you one thing - when a customer calls their cellular company and complains about missing calls etc - they're given the freebie of voice mail as a "safety net"...There are marketing add-ons in place by cellular companies to combat the "no coverage" scenario....believe me - I'm not reinventing the wheel here...*LOL*

I posted over a year ago that what G* needed was a direct sales force...it was true then - it's true now. Mot/Iridium thought they could market as well thru retail outlets/partners/etc...they realized too late that this is NOT a retail product. G* is supposed to have learned from Iridium's mistakes...they need a direct sales staff to market G* to government/corporate accounts (other than a 1-800 G* # that is staffed by "order-takers")

It's not reinventing the wheel....
