Hi Ru2, The book was worth it to me but I was already into Elliot quite a bit. Bob Miner is a really sharp guy and he has the assertion in his book that their is no Elliot pattern discernable 50% of the time. I think that's not a bad statement, but it more likely there is a Mathematical pattern, but is' very difficult to get it correctly. I don't even bother thinking of a count many times during something like the contracting triangle the DJIA was in from April through the summer. John
