Obviously there needs to be some remedy...early call in Florida really hurt Bush...panhandle hadn't even voted yet...and further west many people, thinking Florida had been lost...didn't vote because they thought it no longer made a difference.

Mason, the networks were so hot to get it first that until about 9:30 they were projecting after two exit interviews. When Florida became a disaster area they went into a shell. They all wanted ratings, they are part of the problem not the answer. The answer is as follows. The polls are open for 24 hours the same 24 hours and all polls close at the same time. Then votes are not reported until 3% of all precincts are recorded. Then they can make all the projections they want!!!!!!
