Hello Floyd!

Thanks for sharing another scenario wgt the dismissal of the Military's right to vote.

>> another not nice possibility: someone got a hold of some absentee ballots and dropped them in at the last minute in the hopes that they would not be scrutinized ... <<

I don't think this was the case as signatures were scrutinized by those counting the ballots. I haven't seen any press coverage indicating forged signatures on the military ballots. I'm sure we would have if this did occur.

>> Look at who those tossed out ballots are for, and you are probably looking at who was trying to stack the absentee votes. <<

Again Floyd, I don't think we can conclude that. It is well known that Clinton hates the military. The military personnel know it. Gore is an extension of Clinton as far as a lot of military people are concerned.

I live in a military town. I have found very few supporters of Gore, even among democrats. I believe the military vote was stacked in Bush's favor but his people didn't have to cheat on this one. Easy pickins from my point of view.

It appears to me that Gore's quest to get a fair and accurate count doesn't apply to our brave military personnel. As a Vietnam era Marine, I'm ashamed that too many people in our country, and that includes politicians, don't have any more respect for the military than they do.

Anyway Floyd, thanks for the response and best of luck in the market this week.
