I thought it was pretty funny too, until I tried a little experiment.

I went to the site and voted once, then again , and again.

It has no limit to the number of times you can vote, or what identity you provide. The site was pretty slow indicating perhaps it was being hit by automated voters.

However, I agree that online polling could be useful if made universal enough and secure enough. (maybe after Chretien is re-elected and he puts in his national internet initiative :-()
