Al simply can't have fairly, and won't get, just his counties included in vote recovery methods Don't tell me, tell Gov. Bush. He's the one who sneered at the offer to count all the counties. Either man could have asked for a fair hand-count in all applicable counties Not so, Florida law stipulated that each candidate could request up to 4 counties be handcount. That is precisely what Gore requested. still worry folks will think Bush unfair if he wins for what?, Mostly because there are a variety of other errors ( double punch, butterfly, etc. plus alledged intimidation of democrats) which indicate at least statisticly, that a sizable majority of Florida voters picked Gore. Bush is just trying to win on a technicality. More important the Bush team is trying to rile you and others up so that your emotions whip you into snap judgements on each new wrinkle. Take a moment, take a deep breath, and go back and look at the actual events of the last two weeks without reading the spin stories. TP
