thanks for your reply...I too will check again at our local Verizon outlet whenever I get down to Reno again. In February of this year, when I asked at a then AirTouch outlet I was told that the "Vodaphone" people in Sacramento were meeting to discuss selling Globastar...I was hoping by this month they had finished that meeting...at least to the point they would have "some" (any) literature freely available in their store (even if it was to announced a "coming" service)...

maybe, of course, it could be JUST Nevada (and Texas) since Jim Parkinson's experience has been far different. And, I am sure I don't have to tell you that I am anything but supportive of Globalstar as a business (I'm still buying their stock), BUT, if by next February Verizon does not show some life in our neck of the woods then I think someone should check into their Sacramento meeting and see if they are still alive....
