Ellen:

I found it interesting after I posted a response to you and continued reading the messages here how many unpleasant arguments (i.e. fight back) you get yourself into here, and with increasing frequency, I might add. IMHO, your experience on this board speaks volumes, much more than I could or ever care to do to bring attention to your obvious problems in dealing with conflict.

It is noteworthy to compare how upset you appear to become here with each day as the underpinnings of the Democratic case to steal the Presidency continue to weaken. You shouldn't take this whole issue so personally. We're all Americans. You problem, IMHO, is demonstrating some respect for many of the individuals who post their views here regardless of their views, but give you the level of respect that wish for yourself.

In short, you excuse yourself for the hostility towards me based upon your premise that I was hostile to you first. I submit to your that your hostility here is directed to more than just me, and apparently based upon that person's view who may not be consistent with your own. That is why I find your excuse disingenuous and laughable.

Yes, I'm sure you can "fight back." That is evident. But that will not win the day. It won't win it for you here, and it won't win it for Al Gore when it comes to the rule of the law. This is election is over; it is just a matter time before he concedes, but what is uncertain is how much damage he will cause this country. So, in some respects, you should just chill a bit and enjoy the ride, but in another respect, you should be very concerned how much further your boy in Washington is willing to put his personal interests ahead of this country.

Popular opinion is turning against your cause here with every day, regardless of what you think, regardless of whether you like it or not. In light of this, I can appreciate your testiness, but I again ask you to see if you can chill a bit, for the common good, which I know is difficult for Gore and his supporters to do.
