Sarmad: The process of correcting P/E multiples can take the market down more than most expect -- as we have seen already. If you think of P/E ratios as the new "inflation", perhaps the Fed wants to dampen a rebound back up to the silly prices of earlier this year -- or even last month.

Banks are raising their own bus lending rates, because lending is getting riskier. The cost of money is going up fast.

Loan defaults are going to be higher this Q than last.
