I guess we'll just have to disagree on the "excuse" thing. From what I saw, Tua never said he could have won if he had been 100%. He didn't want to make any excuses. Larry, though, wouldn't let it go. And to be honest, as a fan I too wanted to know what happened. The answer, Tua walked into the fight healthy, took a hard blow to a weak part of his body, and never recovered. To me that's no excuse, that's what happens in a fight. Maybe my expectations are too low after the Golota debacle, but from where I sit Tua was outclassed in the ring, but showed class outside of it.
