elmatador, Excuse me, but you seem to have drawn the wrong conclusion here. Many of us are well aware of the extent of vendor financing in various industries. That does not mean it is a sound business practice. If a company wanted to get into that area, they would be well advised to lay the risk off on a third party that is better equipped to handle the high risks of vendor financing.
