Intel Introduces the Pentium 4 Processor

SPECint*2000 score of 535 and a SPECfp*2000 score of 558.

This makes it the highest performance Integer processor in the world by a good margin and very nearly the highest Floating point as well. Alpha is #1 at 590 with 8 meg L2.

I guess Scumbria was wrong when he said the integer performance would be disappointing.
