Lets not forget there was a willing bunch of buyers who bought the hype, and the stocks. Analysts can't move price all on their own, someone has to believe them or believe that others will believe...

There was an overabundance of greed during the blow off... everyone expecting 25% returns per year or more. Forever.

more food for thought ... a 60% retraction of the NASDAQ monthly chart from 1989 to 2000(the bull cycle) ... is about 2150 ... perhaps TECHNICAL fair value ...
