GORE LOSES EVEN IF HE WINS- Slate’s Mickey Kaus says that only pregnant chad can save Gore now, and he predicts the Florida courts will rule in Gore’s favor and give him his pregnant chad. Because of this, any possible Gore presidency now is doomed, Kaus writes. Pregnant chad symbolize the problems with liberalism – weak-minded voters need government to divine their intent, firm rules run a poor second to immediate needs, etc. – and a Gore presidency based on pregnant chad will only further pigeonhole Gore as a big-government liberal enamored of legal parsing

I still think it is strange how unpopular the Al Gore threads are. Why aren't his supporters posting there? This is just a passing comment.

All this arguing will not change anyone's mind but it is nice to have these links.

We await the decision of the Florida Supreme Court.
