taking his concession back No doubt an unfortunate incident, but also one which clearly shows that Gore was ready to concede if he thought he lost the election. I think more investigation needs to be done on the role of Bush's cousin, and brother in getting FOX to be the first network to call Florida for Bush when in fact there was no way to tell the winner at that time. It has the appearance of a trick to get Gore to concede publicly, and after the last couple weeks I am less inclined to allot the appearance to coincidence. TP
