Cheer up, freeus. I saw Ralph A. from Pru on the tube the other day, and he said the selloff in tech will last another couple of weeks. We'll see. Ralph was pretty good during the bull run.
If stocks like JNPR will drop 25 points a day, maybe we can get this over with. But HAND reminded me today why we shouldn't short stocks based only on valuation.
AMCC, BRCM and PMCS up today in a horrible market after the downgrade last week. Predictable. We'll know soon enough if they're really buying them or establishing new shorts.
Oh, one more thing. I have heard absolutely no one talk about the so-called "January effect" this year. You know, that's where we're supposed to bottom fish in small-cap trash and play it for a bounce. I don't think that's going to work this time. We'll see.

Stay warm,

PB
