Harvey's 7 reasons to buy now: 1)WS ALWAYS over reacts. 2)There has been a lemming mentality flight from the techs, which is usually followed at some point in time(Dec., iHho) by a lemming mentality flight back to the techs. 3)The I-net index is down 48% in the last 3 months, so those stocks have been trashed, thereby creating a general atmosphere of doom and gloom. With many of them nothing has changed except the valuations. Some of these companies may actually have a good Christmas season and meet or beat estimates for Q4, as may some of the boxmakers, thereby generating confidence and benefitting the entire market. 4)The election should be resolved soon and though it may be too late to generate a rally, the effect should be a settling or calming of the market. Volatility should subside and reason should prevail. 5)Tax selling, that would allow an investor to get back in before year's end, will be over 11/30. 6)IHho, the feds will throw the market a bone in dec. by changing the bias to neutral. 7)Too many good companies like CPQ were creamed with the sector selling mania and are now at 52 week lows and WAY oversold. The Nas is overdue for a MAJOR bounce. Then he sucked down his 9th free beer and finished by saying that if ya liked it @ 34 ya gotta love it @ 24! El
