I couldn't agree with you more. The liberal side doesn't want the Bible shoved down their throat and the conservative side doesn't want the PC bible shoved down there throat either. The Republican party is not entirely defined by the religious right just as the Democrat party is not entirely defined by the Gay agenda. Again states rights solves the majority of these problems. Even in a practical matter you can't have someone being taxed on on 50k in California treated in the same way as someone in Louisiana making 50K. Yet it does and all of Gore's tax codes would ignore this reality.
