If you look at the SPEC scores you see the fastest integer processor in the world and very nearly the fastest floating point as well. x86 has moved to the very elite class of workstation performance. All this with only 256K L2. If that's not impressive then I don't know what is. AMDroids will whine about no speedup in their Office applications but who cares what they say?
