Fundmamentals help determine the reward/risk ratio of any trade you make. Isn't that obvious?

I am not strictly a daytrader, by any means. If I buy a stock that is cheap in my eyes because of realtive fundamentals, then I hope to limit my downside, even if the market turns against me. If I end up holding for awhile or taking a small loss, no problem.

It works for me, maybe it makes no sense to you. I am not trying to convert you, Buzz. I am not even trying to convince anyone to buy. Any stocks recommended on SI by anyone have virtually no effect on the price when the volume is as high as it is on most of these stocks.

PS-- EBAY is not a real strong fundamental stock, but relatively speaking it is compared to others like AMZN in its sector.

Relax

Fundamentals in a day traders aresenal are important and if you don't know that just buzz off. We are short a number of positions for longer term. The era of the 'momentum trader' who might by luck get a good short going without fundamentals is gone, so until you can actually prove to us that fundamentals have no value than your opinion is just an isolated opinion, which is fine but don't put labels on our concepts. This 'extra baggage' has helped us milk this market for the past 8 weeks for all those ridiculous evaluations that crashed and burned.
