Not a problem. When the PPro came out, the only real competition it had in 32 bit code was the Alpha. This was the event that led to the lawsuit that resulted in Intel buying DEC's Hudson fab, paying DEC a big wad of cash, and set up the buyout of the partially picked over carcass of DEC by Compaq.

Sniff. I still tear up when I think about it...
