Hi lml, I do not question the legitimacy of the electoral college or Bush's selection if that is the final decision. Bush will take office with all of the constitutional powers as though he won by a landslide. The problem is that will not be enough. The country is split right now the middle with about 52% to the left of Bush and about 48% with him or to the right. There is not a consensus for action. Bush will have a caretaker presidency. He does not have the political skills or communication skills to bridge the gap and lead from the center. He claims to have those skills but he appears to be a figure head. Congress has been reading these election returns with an eye on 2002. Don't expect much from Congress. Everytime, they try to do something, they will get roasted from the left.

Well, back to watching NT.

Regards, Ken
