Does it seem that Boise is asking for the court to determine intent. Is that legal in your mind?

Duke:

Welcome to this non-stock thread. I caught Boies's argument before the Florida Supreme Court, and IMHO, he did not do as well as the media pundits immediately projected. Most think because of the MSFT antitrust case, he walks on water; he don't. IMHO, he's a little bit unfamiliar with ALL the issues at play.

I find quite surprising the immediate points the media scored for the Democratic lawyers based SOLELY upon the line of questioning, meaning intensity, given the Republican team compared to the Democratic team, and conclude the Court was leaning against Republicans and toward the Democratic argument. I happen to disagree. Just because the justices interrogate to a greater the degree the ISSUES presented and ARGUED by the Republican does not mean a priori that the Court is going to rule against the Republican position.

The bottom line is some of these media legal pundits don't know kaka. No one knows what the Court will do, but we shall soon see.
