They'll change the bias, and they'll lower rates too, but it will be to late. It all starts with the banks my friend, and they are laying off like you wouldn't believe in the #2 banking city in the nation. Have you seen T's price as of late? Another 52 week low. Truckers are going out of business because of high energy prices, and that will not get better anytime soon.

Bottom line, stock market wealth creates prosperity and, stock market losses taketh away. When companies like At&t and banks are affected, I don't care what Greenspan does, it will not be enough, until there are serious cost cutting measures that will undoubtedly result in layoffs and mergers and acquisitions, which will further layoffs.
