I read right of his book. I guess, he himself did not state it, but his closest friends had been asserting that as the reason for his hesitancy. Polls mean not a thing when pinchful of people in the country know, who you are and what you stand for. I do not dispute his leadership skills or positive attributes. But I do question so many folks who go ga ga over him who is relatively an unknown quantity in the minds of public. It is pure extrapolation and speculation that he will do well (deservingly so, if he does.)
