Hi VC... I'm expecting this 4th wave drive lower to wrap up before Christmas in the sub 40 area. In determining how long the 5th wave may last, it's helpful to examine the duration of waves 1 & 3. Wave 1 lasted from 5/14/97-8/25/97, or 3.5 months. Wave 3 lasted from 4/27/99-6/22/00, or 14 months. I suspect on a time basis we have to be mindful of the fibonacci 1.618 X (wave 1 duration of 3.5 months). So 5.663 months would be about as early as I would expect Wave 5 to terminate, and if it breaks to new highs after that timeframe, I would try to use a general market/nasdaq topping point as a timing guide. Whatever the case, I want to see a massive explosion in a short time after an extended move like QCOM saw when it ran from 600 to 800 presplit in a matter of days, and had all the guys on sqwauk Box chanting... QWAL...COM....QWAL....COM.. <g>

Regards,

david
