"Bush was elected by 56% of the states, to 36% for Gore.
2,434 counties went to Bush and 677 to Gore." What does any of this got to do with the price of eggs in China? Doink!

"just because Gore got all the colored votes in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami..."

a) might want to be careful with the racial slurs, b) if your math was that simple or anything else here were that clear cut, we would have been done on or about Nov 7, and c) there are still SO many issues which remain to be resolved from BOTH parties, that to declare a winner either now, two weeks ago or two weeks from now may be a tad more than difficult.

You are either stupid or intentionally misrepresenting the situation (lying)...

>Bush was elected by 56% of the states, to 36% for Gore<

Bush states are mostly rural- UNPOPULATED - that's why they don't count for much - nobody lives there so they do not get many electoral votes.

>2,434 counties went to Bush and 677 to Gore.<

All the rural, backwards, uneducated, UNPOPULATED counties went to Bush.

These "counties" are mostly empty land. How does that amount to any type of support for Bush. It is people that matter, not empty land.

>So you tell me whom should win - just because Gore got all the colored votes in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami<

Also, large cities are centers of the highly educated that voted for Gore....

>does this make him the winner<

Yes.
It makes him the winner of the people's hearts, but unfortunately not of the presidency due to the electoral college.

>This is why Hillary Clinton wants to do away with electorial college - the democrats will have power forever!<

So, the only way that Republicans can obtain power is through the skewed electoral college where arbitrary state boundaries give rural state residents more voting power per person than residents of populated states ?

I this is the case, then Democrats SHOULD retain power forever.

FYI: the spelling is "electoral", not "electorial"
