Jeff,

when you read the Jesse Livermore books Like "Remininsces
of a Stock Market Operator" and other early books, they
had many more bear market than we have today.

they probably would have described 1998 as a bear market.

Tech has had a bear market and if we have the election
indecision extends out into next year and have some type
of UH House Election or compromise, that is not accepted by
either side or,

....a real "blow-up" in the
mid east, or a China Taiwan conflict, or a combination, we
could still be in for much more downside.

Presumably the Fed will be providing a rate cut in Q 1 of
2001.

I think this is a good time to be flexible in thinking,
have some cash on the sidelines , maybe have
some bullish scenerio's, some that are bearish and
some that are really outside the box......

using the word "bear market"?

I hope so...

[I would hate to think this is just a practice run to what a real Bear market would be -gg-]

Politicos better make up their mind, otherwise...

The United Bananas of America -g- will experience more than a Bear market.
