"our country is very fractionated right now.
something is very wrong. beneath the surface we have problems. what is going on."

Re-read the man's post to know what's going on...anyone who still refers to black men as "colored" is EXACTLY why this country is and has been so "fractionated"...get a clue!

I heard recently that Strom Thurmand, back in the days of being a judge, let lynchers get off free. Now if you were black and you had a group painting every Republican the same way, wouldn't you be afraid? Blacks I know feel the Republican's don't care about issues that affect the poorer, less educated in our society. To this I agree. Republicans need to get a better image. They also need better lawyers. Whoever that first guy was, was horrible! What a stumbler?
Looks like the partial court will rule accordingly.

Do you think the constant selling of Democrats fighting for Civil Rights has anything to do with it?

To Democrats...

...Affirmative Action is a NEED

...Hate Crime Legislation is a NEED

Democrats a full of racial pandering to blacks. While Bush stopped the "Daisy" ad from slamming Al Gore on dealings with China, Gore says nothing stopping the NAACP's "James Byrd" ad (linking George W. Bush to dragging death racists).

And the NAACP does this while ignoring the fact the Texas is punishing Byrd's killers MORE severely than they would (since the oppose the death penalty)!

Republicans don't do racial pandering and suffer in the black vote.

I'm sure Larry Elder would agree with this. In his book "Ten Things You Can't Say in America", he says Blacks are more racist than Whites.

>Gore got all the colored votes<
>It is fact 96% vote democrat - just stating facts my friend!<

This has been going on long before this election.

As a white, degreed, male I am personally disgusted to live in a country where minorities are treated so shoddily by the "archie bunkers" who still run our society.

It is embarrassing and shameful that "colored voters" is even a socially acceptable phrase.
