re: NetApp is posited to be a Gorilla, but at this point remains a candidate for that title. The risk is therefore higher, but arguably, so is the reward. I agree. re: optical router Hmm, I believe it's a item that will not be needed, with switches handling it. If you believe Glider, the net will be like a ocean, or the air we breath, you just tap it, or breath it, send off your data and it finds it's own way with no need to have routers or switches for that matter. Wild idea and hard to believe isn't it? <g> Greg
