Go to Europe, it is a fact that the socialists love a dumb population - this way they stay in power. So keep allowing all the foreigners in with no education or ability to take the country forward and you stay in power. It is no different for the Democratic Party in America - they are sheep in wolves clothing. To keep power promise the poor you will look after them and all you do it keep them from getting ahead. Dumbing down of America. I have always said, it is not a race issue in America, it is an education issue. There are plenty of braindead/trailer trash whites within our population. If people were RESPONSIBLE for their own actions instead of waiting for government to solve them for them - they would all be further ahead. The Rebulicans can do this, the Democrats never will - for fear of losing their power! West

Republicans outvoted Democrats (in terms of %) in favor of civil rights legislation That's a difficult statistic to measure, since Republicans have a different definition of civil rights than Democrats. TP
