Well, that goes back to the due diligence phase of the argument. How could so many blow it so badly? Maybe they really were undecided.......

Hi Ish. I took a nice buck this morning at 8 on the nose(yesterday morning, actually). He came in behind me grunting after a doe. The doe darted over to my left. The buck did the same. Then he stopped, looking directly at me as if to say “What a weird looking tree that is over there.” He stared at me for about a minute. My heart was racing. I didn’t even blink. Finally he put his head down and went behind a tree. That allowed me to set up for him.

I was about 2.5 miles in the forest. So I had quite a journey pulling the buck out while carrying my gear. I was about a mile from my car when this kid popped out of the wood. I thought he’d admire my buck. The first thing he said was “Need any help with that sir?” Nice kid, but he nearly ruined a great day (grin). I salvaged the day with tenderloin and wine for lunch.
