Why does the NAACP refer to themselves as "colored"?knc" Uh, oh, are you the same guy who just came back from getting booted by SI for KKK-like commentary?...if it appeases you, the NAACP was founded in 1909 to fight for social justices and probably folks like yourself and West and at that time (NOT NOW WEST!) African Americans were referred to as "colored"...they purposefully chose to keep the name to remember the history....now you may go back to your White Aryan Nation meetings.
