I am NOT a Republican.I am INDEPENDENT. My apologies. I have not heard of people getting turned away from the polls. If true, then I find that disturbing too. All votes should count, but if someone makes a mistake like in the Palm Beach county debacle, that's too bad, we can't do recounts forever! Yes, there are those who complained they were turned away at the polls. They report the use of, among other things, dogs and being asked to produce three (3) forms of ID in order to vote. And I agree, this can't (and won't) continue endlessly. If the recounts had been allowed to proceed unobstructed maybe they could already be completed. I just hope the recounts are allowed to now be completed and let it be done, finished. And if the recount results are included in the certified (final) count and Gore loses, then I certainly hope that is the end of it.
