Jock, How do you rectify Yahoo's brokerage history that has MSDW initiating coverage on 10/13/00 at a Strong Buy and then downgrading on 11/20/00 to an Outperform? biz.yahoo.com I see no MSDW prior to that and the list goes back to July 1999. Not trying to harp on you, but just trying to get the facts straight. Tom

Jock - Morgan Stanley/Dean Witter Initiated coverage of JNPR on October 13, 2000 with a price target of $250/shr, when the stock was trading at $210/shr, causing the stock to jump by about $32/shr the next trading day closing at around $242/shr. On November 20, 2000 (today and about 5 weeks after their initial coverage) they downgraded the stock from Strong Buy to Outperform when the stock was trading at around $150/shr, which caused the stock to go down by about $32/shr closing at $121/shr. It is sad that we have laws going after Presidents for lying about their sex lives, but there are no laws that can go after (or at least restrict) a bunch of con artist charlatans calling themselves analyst ripping off millions of investors!
