After nothing but rain for three weeks, it has turned cold here on the coast. I've been keeping the fire in now all day and night. Regarding the sticks... it is my belief that long red sticks with little or no shadows rarely mark a bottom. In addition, many of these sticks have gaps above them. Of course this time might be different, but I think something will come up again tomorrow that will drive us further down. Another gap down would not surprise me at all.
