RE Backlog. NTAP has a very short backlog. Their manufacturing (which is a very simple component test, assembly, burn in process) is outsourced and can be grown easily. I have spent most of my career in marketing to government, mostly Federal. NTAP has a very good Federal Systems Division with a major presence in the intelligence agencies, NASA, particular DoD specialized locations, and a few other civilian agencies. They maintain their margins in these accounts. The last thing NTAP would do now is sacrifice its GM for the sake of major award. I have seen such awards tank the stocks of major IT vendors because of their effects on backlog and GM.
