Experiments in the SAN-Box Server/Workstation Expert is one of the (many) free subscription trade rags I receive each month. Unlike many of the others, I specifically look for it in my mailbox. In it, here's an ongoing column called "Storage", written by Alan Benway. Over the last year or so, I've found that column very, very interesting. This month's column is titled "Experiments in the SAN-Box", and it's the single best single piece of evidence as to why I belive that NAS is going to quickly overtake SANs. While not specifically relating to NTAP, I thought I'd make y'all aware of it in case anyone was interested.
