Heinz,have you looked at buying some Biotechs recently?
I like some smaller Biotech's with a low market cap and valuable IP or state of the art research as well as some well capitalized player in the genomics field. Many of the bi players are still very richly valued (HGSI, MLNM) but a lot of small caps are still value stocks, in terms of the valuation of their IP and research programs.
The sector has changed and an enormous amount of cash has been raised (35B$!),so its unlikely, that the Biotech stocks will retreat to the levels seen in 1998.
