Eski, That is the problem. It will be harder to downgrade the high fliers now, given that NT has confirmed guidance.

I agree many companies can be downgraded based upon PE but it will be harder given the severe hits many of these had.

I can't imagine JNPR not going up at least $10 tomorrow based upon NT reaffirming guidance. I
I think the election, combined with the useless analysts has been causing the selloffs. I don't think people are that patient to sit in money market funds. They will get the itch to start buying, fearing missing the boat. They will feel this way especially if they got out a few weeks ago.

Regarding the election; once we see some light at the end of the tunnel, that might do it.

I do still think that NT will help put a floor on the Nasdaq given the number of big cap Nasdaq stocks that get impacted by NT.
CSCO, JDSU, SDLI, PMCS, AMCC, VTSS, XLNX, and on and on. So far there was no reason to believe that the capex issue was any better than the thesis put out by Sagawa.

Good luck

BTW--That is why the Nasdaq futures have started moving up this evening. Earlier they were just flat.
